Finger dislocation. Tag rugby player. This case illustrates the importance of obtaining orthogonal films (i.e., at 90 degrees to each other) in trauma cases. The frontal radiograph looks normal despite the presence of a complete PIP joint dislocation in the fourth finger in this patient with a tag rugby injury, confirmed on the lateral view.
