Liver laceration

Liver laceration. This is an image from the abdominal component of the CT performed on the same patient from the previous slide. It shows a low attenuation laceration extending through the full thickness of the liver. This was a grade 5 (of 6 grades) liver laceration. To see how we grade liver trauma on CT, click here.
