Multiple sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis. This is a sagittal T2-weighted image (the CSF in the lateral ventricle is bright). It shows the typical appearance of MS – multiple high-signal plaques of demyelination (arrows) extending perpendicular to the roof of the ventricle (known as ‘Dawson’s fingers’).
