Salter-Harris IV Fracture – radiograph and CT

This is a Salter-Harris type IV fracture – it extends through the metaphysis, physis and epiphysis. The extent of the fracture is difficult to appreciate on the radiograph, taken through a backslab, but is clearly delineated on the subsequent CT.
